Lets take a bit of time to learn different words for the body.
Talking about the body
Let’s practice some sentences using some of the words we’ve learnt.
Ukakunha means his/her, wiṟi is hair and pirla means black.
Anthunha means my, maṟa-pirri means fingernails, parra-parra means long.
Unkunha means your, yakarra means teeth and ngurku means good/nice.
Mankara means girl, parla-parla means short and in this sentence tharkarnda means is.
NOTE: Tharkarnda means standing but in the above sentence it is used to mean is.
Unpa means you, thurndu means belly and paputya means big with pregnancy.
Uka means he, thurndu means belly and mathirri means big.
Uka means she and marni-thapu means fat.
Madla-yapa means dingo, iranya means skinny and ngamarlapurru means what a pity.
Anthunha means my, thurndu means stomach and mimi means sore.
Uka means he and yarri-pula means deaf.
